This is Destiny our newest family pet, and she is just too adorable. There is a short story of how we ended up with her so read on.
It was the beginning of July 2009 when Terri's brother called and asked if she would like another cat as he knew of one that needed a home. We already have two cats and a dog so I (Tim) admit that I was not too excited about adding to the collection. In any case after Terri told me the story of this very young kitten I reluctantly agreed to taking on another animal.

The story as apparently reported in our local paper is that there were some people fishing down at the Duck river and saw a plastic bag floating in the water and in some way looked very odd to them so they fished it out.
Once out of the water they found in the bag a lifeless wet baby kitten and by God's graces were able to resuscitate and bring life back to this young kitten. After she was revived the next issue was what to do with this kitten as these people already had several cats and just could not take on another one. My wife's brother considered taking in this kitten but quickly realized that conditions at his home with his other animals just would not be feasible. So it was on to the next place and that was us.
As I said, I reluctantly agreed to this and of course once we got a look at her were unable to turn her away fleas and all. So the immediate task came up of getting her cleaned up and back to good health.
Since then so much has changed as she has grown and come to find out she has great taste in men as she just loves me and my lap. This of course has made the other family members of our house quite jealous which includes Terri as it just does not seem quite fair that the person who really wanted her to begin with seems less important to Destiny than the person who was not too thrilled about getting another animal anyway is given constant attention.
What
is not noticeable in most of the pictures we have taken is that
Destiny's right front leg appears to have suffered some sort of
nerve damage either during birth or during her development prior to
her being born. In any case this may explain why she was found
in that bag and thrown in to the river as a means of disposing of
the less then perfect cat.
And by looking at the picture to the left if I had not told you of any issues with that right front leg you would have never noticed.
For the moment I am putting just a few videos my wife took of Destiny while I put together a much bigger selection. Enjoy!
