The Vehicles Of Our Past

The 2004 Ford Explorer XLT Sport

So what did the wife have that has me and many others in envy?  It was a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT Sport complete with full leather interior.  I consider this a New Years gift as we purchased this on December 31st 2003.

I admittedly felt like the proud father of a new baby with this choice and really wish it were mine.  Lets take a look at some pictures to see what we got.

The 2002 Ford Ranger Edge SuperCab

Well this is a bit of a surprise for me, I did not plan on buying a new vehicle but that is what happened.  I originally went in to have the dealer replace a fuse on my Focus that controlled the door locks.  I was unable to find it where the manual said it would be, so I just took to the experts.  While there I sat down in the lounge next to my sales rep Harry White and was in a joking way asking if he had any deals for me.  Well he said he had no interest payments on any new 2002 vehicles, and I said fine I'll just go take a look and see what you have.  I did look around a bit and saw a Mercury Sable that looked nice.  I called my wife and asked if I could buy it and she said only if the payments would be the same as my car.  I said great and hung up the phone, and went to tell Harry the good news.  Now there was no way that I was going to get the same payment for the Sable as my Focus but just for fun we thought we would give it a shot.  While doing that I was standing next to this White Ford Ranger Pickup on the showroom floor and said to myself this is a nice truck.  I yelled over to Harry who was at another area of the showroom and said "skip the car, I want this truck instead".  And so that is how I came to be the new owner of this truck.  Total time for me to make this purchase was about an hour and 30 minutes.  Take a look below at my New Truck.
